海洋委員會海洋保育署將於2024年9月23日至26日辦理「2024海洋廢棄物國際研討會」（International Conference on Marine Debris, ICMD），匯集多國海洋廢棄物領域產官學專家及學者，共同探討海洋廢棄物相關知識及技術，並以攤位及海報展示相關產品及研究成果。本次研討會目的在於促進海洋廢棄物治理領域間的交流及合作，分享最新的研究成果及創新技術，深入瞭解海洋廢棄物各領域間之奧妙，透過學術交流方式實現維護海洋環境之願景。誠摯邀請各界專業人士及關心海洋環境議題的夥伴們共襄盛舉，加入推動全球海洋環境永續發展的行列。
