
In accordance with the provisions of the Irrigation Act, the office has a director to coordinate the entirety of its business. Under the director is a first-level deputy director, a senior specialist and a chief engineer. The office is divided into 4 divisions and 4 sections which assist in operational development. In order to facilitate communication between farmers, the office set up 8 irrigation workstations in various regions to provide local services and business area management.

Processes water resources development, allocation, operational water quality monitoring and inspection, irrigation land management and irrigation facility maintenance, disaster repairs, basic level irrigation team operations, pump maintenance and management, and pipeline irrigation promotion.
In charge of construction, improvement, repair and engineering planning, surveying, designing, project examination, construction, acceptance and other matters relating to irrigation facilities.
Processes documents, conducts cashier related affairs, general affairs management, seal keeping, irrigation advisory committee deliberations.
Processes the irrigation operation funds' non-facility real estate activation, income disposal and other fee income and real estate management, disposals, annual financial planning, scheduling and other related matters.
Processes organization, employee appointment and dismissal, remuneration, benefits, assessment, rewards and punishments, attendance, training, retirement, pensions.
Processes the preparation of annual budgets and final accounts, review accounting documents, registration, use and storage of accounting books, and the compilation and submission of statements and statistical data.
Maintains official confidentiality, promotes civil service ethics, prevents employee corruption, illegal acts, processes reports of corruption, maintains agency facilities safety and assists with appeals and petition cases.
The Information Office processes overall operational planning, system development, education and training, information resource management, coordination and maintenance.
